Day 1: Transfer from Kampala/Entebbe to Bwindi

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi
On Day 2, the adventure begins with an early morning breakfast before heading to the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for your highly anticipated gorilla trekking experience. After a briefing by the park rangers about the rules and safety precautions, you’ll embark on a guided trek through the dense jungle to find the mountain gorillas. The trek can last anywhere from 1 to 6 hours depending on where the gorillas are located, and the terrain is often steep and challenging.
Once you encounter the gorillas, you’ll have a magical hour to observe these incredible creatures in their natural habitat. After the trek, you’ll return to the lodge for lunch and a short rest.
